Hot and Hibiscus in Ohio!

It has been very hot the last few days and the perennial hibiscus are in full bloom! We have had temps in the hi 80's to low 90's and it has been very humid. We are enjoying the beautiful hibiscus - the highlight of our garden this month. What a show they and the Black Eyed Susans are putting on in this heat!

Can You Hear the Insects Buzzzzzing?

Summer brings the flowers but also brings the insects which are fun to watch as long as you do not get too close. The Black Eyed Susans are adding their splash of color to the garden now.

Memories from 40 Years Ago

40 years ago yesterday, I traveled to Europe and visited London, Paris, and Rome. I am working on making the slides that I took then into a DVD movie. I thought I would share just a few of those pictures with you in smilebox. This is the first in a 3 part series starting with London. Watch for more to come featuring Paris and Rome.
